Preventative Pet Wellness Care
The saying goes “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” The best investment that you can make in your dog or cat’s health and well-being is a routine wellness examination. These are important, because they allow us to establish a baseline of their overall health, so that we can quickly see if something goes amiss. We treat every single pet and person who walks through our front doors like family, because we believe you deserve no less.
Over the last 13 years, this place has been amazing. They took such great care of our dog and walked us patiently through each twist that came our way. When we had to say goodbye to him on Wednesday, we realized how this amazing place and the people that work there had turned into part of our family. I will always be grateful for the amazing care he had there.
I cannot say enough good things about Acorn. The last 6 months have been very difficult for our dog Sydney who has been diagnosed with Lymphoma (currently in remission). Dr. Violin has been there for us from the start, guided us in the right direction, and because of that Sydney is still here with us today. The continued support and phone calls to check in have meant more to us then I can put in to words.
Acorn has always given excellent care of all the pets I have taken to them. The front desk staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable. Dr’s always call back to personally give reports and/or email results. Dr. Weitzman and Dr. Pinel are my favorites but all the Dr’s there are great. I have been going there for 20+ years and will continue to go even though it is a bit out of the way. Well worth the trip!!
I’ve been taking my dogs here for over 10 years. The Veterinarians and technicians could not be more kind, informed, or professional. They’ve even taken extra time and attention to research and respond to some of my questions about alternative care. The rest of the staff is also super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Thank you for taking great care of my dogs.
What To Expect
The first step is to give us a call to schedule your examination!
During your pet’s exam, we will take basic measurements – such as their weight, temperature, listen to their heart, etc. We will then conduct a full nose-to-tail examination where we carefully study each of their major bodily systems.
This is also a great opportunity for us to answer any questions you might have about your pet’s wellness, and to help you set healthy habits.
